Sanaaya Almaaroof Visits Hadhramout Cancer Control Foundation

A delegation from Sanaaya Almaaroof Humanitarian Foundation visited the headquarters of Hadhramout Cancer Control Foundation as part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between health and humanitarian foundations in addressing the country's health challenges. The meeting focused on discussing the current health situation, described as "difficult" due to recurrent crises, and exploring ways to improve health services, especially concerning cancer patient care.

 

The delegation from Sanaaya Almaaroof was led by the foundation's chairman, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Ghanem, while Dr. Walid Al-Battati, the Executive Director of Hadhramout Cancer Control Foundation, represented the hosting institution. During the meeting, the current health conditions and the challenges faced by patients, particularly cancer patients, were reviewed. The importance of strengthening joint efforts between the organizations to provide essential support to patients and improve the quality of health services was emphasized.

 

The two parties also discussed mechanisms for cooperation in implementing humanitarian and health projects aimed at delivering the best possible medical services to patients in the most underserved areas, highlighting the need to mobilize resources to support these efforts.

 

Attending from Sanaaya Almaaroof Foundation were Mr. Mohamad Saleh Bathar, Head of Programs and Projects, and Mr. Ehab Saleh Fadel, Head of Relations and Media. From adhramout Cancer Control Foundation, Dr. Mohamed Salem Bin Shahna, Director of Programs and Projects, and Engineer Mohamed Fareed Al-Mosati, Director of Relations and Resource Development, were present.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their hope for intensified fruitful cooperation between the two institutions in the service of patients and the community, reaffirming their commitment to doing everything possible to alleviate patients' suffering and improve healthcare in the country.
