The Family Protection Department of the General Administration of Security and Police in the coast of Hadhramaut organized a training course on Monday morning, 20.12.2021, to build the capacities of policewomen on (security behavior and work ethics), in cooperation and partnership with Sanaaya Al Maaroof Humanitarian Foundation, for (35) policewomen, from the departments of the Prisons Authority, Criminal Investigation, and the Directorate Mukalla Security, Moral Police, Narcotics Control Agency, and Airport Security.
At the opening of the course, which is held under the auspices General :Saeed bin Dowais Al-Obthani, Director General of Hadhramaut Coast Security and Police, the Assistant Director of Security for Services Affairs, Maree Saeed Bakhla’a, gave a speech in which he explained the role that women play in the various security departments in the Hadhramaut coast, indicating the importance of confidentiality in security work Which is considered one of the important pillars in achieving security goals in various sectors, which security officers in various departments must possess without exception.
He thanked the third sector institutions, including Sanaaya Al Maaroof Humanitarian Foundation, for the partnership in implementing such training courses that raise the capabilities of Security personnel.
For his part, Colonel Abdullah Awad Al-Duqail, Assistant Director-General for Security Affairs, gave a speech in which he praised the participants in the course, calling on all security personnel to demonstrate good behavior and work ethics while performing daily tasks, especially those related to dealing with citizens, indicating that the Hadramout Coast Security Department is working on Rehabilitation of its security cadres, in its various departments, in order to improve security work in the future; At the conclusion of his speech, he praised the cooperation with the Sanaaya Al Maaroof Humanitarian Foundation in holding this course.
The participants receive a series of lectures on (issues of violence against women and the role of the women’s police in dealing with them) given by Professor Hikma Saeed Al-Shuaibi, and (human rights and the rights of detainees in accordance with international conventions and national laws), delivered by Lieutenant Salem Saleh Bawazeer, and (the role of the female soldier in laying the foundations for Peace between society and the importance of inspection) delivered by Colonel Faraj Babhish; And (the importance of work confidentiality and the qualities that a female soldier must possess), which is delivered by Colonel Salem Al-Awbthany, and (the general behavior of a security man during the performance of duty) by Colonel Abdullah Awad Al-Duqail.
The course aims to build the capacities of female investigators, female investigators, female inspectors, and female prison guards, on (police and its duties), how to and communicate with battered women, raise security awareness about the rights of detainees in accordance with international law and what is included in the Yemeni constitution, and explain the importance of maintaining confidentiality for the female soldier and its relationship to the success of police and community goals
The inauguration of the course was attended by the Director of Command and Control, Colonel Khaled Awad Bagham, the Director of Moral Guidance, Major Ali Saeed Alyan, the Director of Training and Rehabilitation, First Lieutenant Shawqi Rajab Amron, the media advisor to the Security Director of the Hadhramaut Coast, Lieutenant Musabah Abdullah Al-Ghurabi, and Professor Hikmat Saeed Al-Shuaibi, Director of the Family Protection Department of Hadhramout Coast Security, the course coordinator.
