With the start of AL- Eid takbeer in mosques, the work teams of the Sanaaya Al Maaroof Humanitarian Foundation in Hadramout implemented al- Eid sacrifice meat project for the year 1442, benefiting 4,170 families in the governorates of Hadramout, Shabwa and Marib.  And The head of the Foundation, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Ghanem, explained that this year the Foundation’s staff was distributed to the targeted governorates, which are Hadramout (the valley and the coast), Shabwa and Marib, and this in turn contributed to the benefit poor families in these governorates, and Ghanem indicated the number of sacrifices that were presented saying ” In Wadi Hadramout, specifically in the city of the education  and Scholars, Tarim, 36 camels were slaughtered, benefiting (1008) poor families, while in Ma’rib governorate, the camps for the displaced were targeted in the governorate, which suffers from miserable conditions, where 75 cows were slaughtered, benefiting(1,650) families, and in Shabwa governorate, 24 camels were slaughtered, benefiting( 672) families, and in Mukalla, 210 sheep were slaughtered, benefiting (840) families.

The process of sacrificing sacrifices began on the day of sacrifice, which is considered an imitation of the Sunnah of the Prophet Ibrahim ( peace be upon him) and it is one of the important rituals in the pilgrimage ceremonies. With this sacrifice, Sanaaya Al Maaroof Humanitarian Foundation has contributed to bringing joy and happiness into the homes of the poor and needy, who are unable to purchase sacrifices, due to the great collapse in the national currency, which led to a rise in the prices of sacrifices, to imaginary levels that exceeded the income of these families who were forced to search for Other less expensive alternatives ( chicken meat)which is similarly expensive, but it is considered an acceptable alternative to these families.

This is why Sanaaya Al Maaroof Humanitarian Foundation is keen every year to contribute to providing Eid meat to weak and needy families in various regions of Yemen, which have been suffering from the scourge of war raging for seven years.
