Ramadan is characterized by Ramadan Iftars(meals) , a custom for which many Islamic countries are famous, in the month of Ramadan. In this context, Sanaaya  Al Maaroof Humanitarian Foundation distributed iftars in poor areas on the outskirts of the city of Mukalla,(450) individual, meals consisting of rice and cooked chicken .

In this Ramadan project, which was funded by European Aid Foundation and Hands For Charity, the Foundation relied on distribution to the homes of the poorest and needy families who live in poor areas on the outskirts of the city of Mukalla, which are unable to provide their needs of food, due to the rampant increase in food prices.

In Yemen, which has been suffering from war since 2015, The project (Iftar for the Fasting) comes within the food security sector, which is implemented by the Foundation in the various regions of Hadramout in particular, and all governorates of Yemen in general.
