A significant meeting was held at the headquarters of Sanaaya Almaaroof with a group of consultants to discuss the objectives of the project aimed to empower NGOs in Yemen. The goal is to reduce poverty and improve living conditions in local communities. This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the role of NGOs in sustainable development and build local capacities to face economic and social challenges.

The Chairman of the Foundation, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Ghanem, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among various stakeholders to achieve the project's goals. He underscored the necessity of providing technical and logistical support to NGOs to ensure efficient and effective implementation of programs and projects.

Dr. Hani Balaafeer, the project consultant, presented an overview of the project's strategic plan, which includes a series of activities and training programs aimed at enhancing the capacities of local organizations.

Consultant Dr. Abdullah bin Thalab noted that the project will also focus on fostering partnerships between NGOs and both the public and private sectors, aiming to create a supportive environment for economic and social growth.

During the meeting, the challenges faced by NGOs in Yemen, especially given the current situation in the country, were discussed. It was agreed to establish mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the implementation of activities to ensure the desired outcomes are achieved.

 

It is worth mentioning that Tadamon Project to empower NGOs in Yemen aims to enhance the capacities of local civil society organizations and improve their performance quality in their operations in four Yemeni governorates: Hadhramaut, Al-Mahrah, Aden, and Shabwa.
