Sanaaya Almaaroof has launched its Qurban Project 2026, targeting more than 51,086 beneficiaries from the most vulnerable families across several Yemeni governorates. The project is being implemented with the support of the Foundation’s international partners and reflects its ongoing efforts to promote social solidarity and bring joy to families in need during Eid al-Adha.
Project activities commenced from four main slaughterhouses located in Mukalla, Tarim, and Ghail Bawazir in Hadhramaut Governorate, in addition to Taiz Governorate. The implementation process includes slaughtering, skinning, meat cutting, and distribution in accordance with approved health and humanitarian standards.
The Foundation’s Chairman, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Ghanem, stated that the project aims to deliver Qurban meat to thousands of vulnerable families, helping to ease their living burdens and enabling them to share in the joy of Eid alongside the rest of society.
Mr. Ghanem also expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the Foundation’s donor partners and commended the efforts of field teams and volunteers working to implement the project and ensure that assistance reaches its intended beneficiaries efficiently and transparently.
The Qurban Project is part of a series of humanitarian programs and initiatives implemented by the Foundation across various relief and development sectors, reflecting its mission to serve the most vulnerable communities and promote the values of generosity, compassion, and social solidarity.
