Today, Sanaaya Almaaroof Humanitarian Foundation received a delegation from Fyna Khair Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works at its headquarters in Al Mukalla to discuss the challenges facing humanitarian work in Yemen and the role of local organizations in supporting development programs.

 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various aspects of humanitarian work in Yemen, including the increasing humanitarian needs, the difficulty of reaching some areas, the lack of funding, the importance of the role of local organizations in supporting development programs, and ways to strengthen cooperation between different stakeholders.

Mr. Ahmed Ghanem, the foundation's chairman, underscored the critical role of humanitarian work in the face of Yemen's ongoing humanitarian crisis. He stressed the urgent need for collective action from all stakeholders to deliver aid to those in need. He commended the vital contributions of third-sector organizations in providing essential humanitarian services and emphasized the necessity of providing them with the necessary support to enhance their capabilities.

 

For her part, the Executive Director of Fyna Khair Foundation, Ms. Fatima Khawar, affirmed her foundation's commitment to supporting humanitarian work in Almahrah Governorate, pointing out that the foundation is working to implement many programs and projects aimed at improving people's lives. She praised the role of Sanaaya Almaaroof as one of the leading local organizations in the field of humanitarian work.

 

This visit comes within the framework of efforts to strengthen cooperation between different stakeholders in the field of humanitarian work in Yemen.
